About

My name is Kristian Crocker and I am a BSc Product Design student at Cardiff School of Art and Design. I firstly came from a welsh secondary school, Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni and studied Product Design at A Level where my interests in the subject aimed more at CAD design software and sketching. Here at Cardiff School of Art and Design, I am looking to broaden my interests and try to specialise in more than a couple of aspects, i.e Model making and prototyping.

As a BSc student, I take great interest in engineering science and have took part in a great project in my 2nd year of university designing and building a candy claw machine looking at mechanical engineering and programming and electronics. Also I have great interest in the aesthetics of products and how the style and shape affect the user experience and how I can look at products and adapt style and shape to look even more contemporary.

I aim to design and create products which are different in aesthetics and style to products which are currently on the market to create something new that changes the user experience in light of ergonomic factors.
